CAPTAIN AMERICA CIVIL WAR

Civil War starts off in 1991 with Bucky having his brain programmed to make him into the winter soldier he is given a mission where he steals blood from a car. now in the present day we are in Lagos and Cap , Scarlet witch, Falcon and Black widow are on a mission looking for a villian called Crossbones they soon find themselves in the middle of a full on firefight. During the fight they find out that Crossbones has has a Bio weapon so the team chase him down to get it off of him they get the bio weapon but Crossbones blows himself up, Scarlet Witch contains the blast with her energy and accidently sends him into a building killing many people. we then see Tony Stark giving a large amount of money to MIT students where he meets a woman who’s son died in Sokovia, She blames the Avengers for her son’s death.

General Ross turns up at the Avengers facility to propose a set of rules for the Avengers called the Sokovia accords Tony agrees that this is a good idea but Cap is firmly against it. The Avengers are told to either sign or retire. in the next scene we see a man named Zemo break’s into a man’s house and steals a book from him that has all of Bucky’s codewords that turn him into a Hydra agent. The Avengers are then arguing about signing the accords and Tony decides he is signing because of the woman from the start of the woman who tells him about her son. Rhodey and Black Widow also decide that they will sign but Cap and Falcon still say no. Once again the scene changes and Cap is at his old girlfriend Peggy Carter’s funeral. Cap and Black Widow then travel to Vienna for the signing of the accords where we are introduced to T’challa or The Black Panther. There is an explosion at the facility in Vienna and T’challa’s father dies. Bucky is then framed for the Bombing and T’challa decides that he is going to kill him himself but Cap decides that he won’t let that happen he finds Bucky in Bucharest and stops the police bringing him in he and Bucky ach fight off and army of Police officers only for The Black Panther to enter the fight in this fight Cap, Bucky and T’challa show off their extreme speed as they outrun speeding cars in a tunnel. They get out of the tunnel and t’challa has caught Bucky but Warmachine intervenes and takes in the three of them.

Cap, Falcon, T’challa and Bucky are brought back to the US holding cells in germany and put into jail for their actions. Zemo then breaks into the government building where Bucky is being held and he reads him the trigger words to turn him into the winter soldier. Zemo then releases Bucky who fights his way out of the facility past Cap, Black Widow, Tony and Black Panther. Bucky tries to escape in a helicopter but manages to hold it to the ground so he does not escape. Cap then manages to get through to Bucky where he reveals that there are more than one Winter Soldier. The scene changes to Tony telling General Ross that he will bring in Captain America and his team and Tony has to get a team together so he goes to Queens to meet a young Peter Parker or Spider-man who he recruits to help him bring in Cap. Tony and his team then go to Germany where they have to face of against Cap’s team in an airport. This makes for probably the best fight scene in any Marvel movie yet.

Team Ironman consists of himself, Warmachine, Black Widow, Black Panther, Spider-Man and vision. Captain America’s team consists of himself, Bucky, Falcon, Scarlet WItch, Hawkeye and Antman. The two teams battle with Ironman’s team seeming to come out on top in the end but Rhodey is shot out of the sky and ends up paralysed so Cap and Bucky escape while the rest of his team s taken to the supervillain prison the RAFT. Ironman soon finds Cap and Bucky But Zemo is there and reveals that Bucky killed Starks parents so they have another fight where Tony almost beats cap and Bucky to death but leaves them in the end because that’s not what he is.

Overall i would give this movie a 9/10

ANTMAN

Antman starts with Dr Hank Pym meeting with Howard Stark to tell him that he will not be allowed to use his invention the Pym particle. The movie then moves to the present day and Scott Lang is just getting out of jail he is met by his old cellmate luis who picks him up outside of prison where he explains to him that he will not be going back to a life of crime. Scott tries to get a few jobs and has no success he is also fired from Baskin Robbins for lying about going to jail. After he is fired he goes back to luis’ apartment and luis introduces him to some of his friends who can help him with a robbery. The scene then changes to a now old Hank Pym going to his company Pymtech to watch his young prodigy Darren Cross show off his new invention the YellowJacket which is Cross’ version of the Antman suit. We then find out that Scott has a daughter and his ex wife tells him he can’t see her until he sorts his life out. Scott then gets back to luis’ place and decides to rob Pym’s house so he can get some money to see his daughter.

During the robbery he gets to the safe he’s supposed to break into he gets past the first lock which is a fingerprint scanner, he then gets to the next safe and opens it with nitrogen. Once inside he finds the Antman suit. Scott takes takes the suit home and gets changed into it he then presses the button, he shrinks down and has all kinds of problems getting out of danger. Pym talks to him over the headset and tells him to keep the suit and he would be in touch. Scott ignores him and gets arrested whilst in a jail cell Pym sends Scott the suit so he can escape jail. After Scott gets out of jail he wakes up in Dr Pym’s house where they explain that they want him to be Antman and stop Cross from getting his hands on the Pym particle and be able to shrink himself down. Scott then starts his training for his mission as Antman.

Scott now just about ready for his mission gets his army of ants ready and goes to steal something from the Avengers facility in New York where he is met by the Falcon. Him and Falcon have a fight but Scott gets inside of Falcon’s wing pack and gets the tech. He gets back to Pym’s house and finds out that Cross is updating his security so they employ luis and his friends to help with the break in. Scott then manages to get into Pymtech via the water mains. While inside Scott frys all of Cross’ servers so the only thing that Cross has that can shrink is his YellowJacket suit. Cross gets away with the suit so Scott puts up a chase. Cross puts on his YellowJacket suit fitted with lasers and the two of them have a battle in Tiny form. the battle carries onto Scott’s daughters bedroom where they have a fight on a Thomas the tank engine train set. Scott end’s up beating Cross by shrinking between the molecules of his suit but he doesnt think he can come back from that until he puts a grow disc into his suit and growing out of the quantum realm. The movie ends with Scott and Hank’s daughter Hope getting into a relationship and him getting to spend time with his daughter.

AVENGERS AGE OF ULTRON

Avengers Age of Ultron is the second Avengers movie it starts out with The Avengers on a mission taking out the Hydra units that are left around the world since SHIELD fell and trying to find Loki’s sceptre from the first Avengers. The team are fighting in a forest against the Hydra units who are using futuristic tech which have been made using the sceptres technology. Hydra fights back against the Avengers using their secret weapons The twins Scarlet witch and Quicksilver who are both Enhanced Humans. The Avengers beat Hydra and get to the sceptre. The team then get’s back to Avengers tower and Tony and Bruce study the scepter and decide to use it’s intelligence to create Tony’s vision in Ultron “a suit of armour around the world” that will protect the earth from aliens. So the only people the Avenger’s have to worry about are people. Tony then leaves Jarvis to download the Ultron initiative. Ultron then creates himself out of nothing and kills jarvis. He then download himself into one of Tony’s scrap suits

Whilst Ultron is doing all of this the Avengers are throwing a party where Thor and Tony argue over who has the better girlfriend and Bruce and Black Widow flirt at the bar. Later they all try and lift Thor’s hammer but none of them are worthy but the party is soon interrupted by Ultron who fights them and is destroyed but he just downloads himself into the internet and escapes. Ultron then recruits Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver to help him take down the Avengers. The Avengers make there way to a ship near Afric to stop Ultron and the twins stealing vibranium from ulysses Klaw but they all get brain washed by scarlet witch witch sens the hulk on a rampage and Ironman has to stop him. Tony calls on his HulkBuster armour and has a huge battle with him in a random city. The Avengers then go to Hawkeye’s safehouse to recoup before having to go back and fight Ultron.

The safehouse end’s up being Hawkeye’s family house that none of the new about. Thor leaves early to find some answers about what is going on. the Avengers soon find out that Ultron is planning on making a body out of Vibranium and Human tissue. The team attack where Ultron is just as he starts to download his brain into the body but after quite a long fight they get the vibranium body and the twins swap over to the Avengers after learning that Ultron plans to destroy the world. Tony then uploads Jarvis into the body making the hero Vision.The Avengers then have to go to Sokovia to stop ultron from dropping a city on the world like a meteor and killing everyone on earth. They clear the city of civilians and start destroying all of the Ultron robots. Hawkeye is saving a little boy and Ultron has an open shot on him it shoots to kill but Quicksilver runs on front of him and gives his life for Clint’s. Hulk pulls Ultron out of the Quinjet and flies off into space in a way deciding that he is too dangerous for earth. Tony and Thor then destroys the flying city before it can drop and kill anyone and Vision destroys the last of the Ultron robots putting an end to the Ultron virus.

Overall i would give this movie a 5/10

THOR THE DARK WORLD

This movie starts by introducing us to the ark elf’s and how Odin fought a war with them. the dark elf’s leader Malekith was trying to unleash a weapon called the ether but the Asguardians stopped them and buried the ether where no one would find it. fast forward a few thousand or so years and Loki is being brought on front of Odin before he is cast to the dungeons for the rest of his life. Meanwhile Thor and his friends the warriors three are fighting a battle on Vanaheim which they win with ease. Thor then returns to Asguard where he has a talk with his father about his love interest Jane Foster the scene then changes to London and Jane is on a date which Darcy interrupts. Jane and Darcy then go to find the source of what was making the device go off. they stumble across a bunch of kids who show them a floating truck among other things. Jane is then pulled through a portal where she finds the Ether which attaches itself to her. After Jane gets the Ether Malekith is awoken and goes to get it off of her.

Heimdall tells Thor that he cannot see Jane so Thor goes to London to find her he gets there and and Jane creates an energy field hurting a police officer so Thor takes her to Asguard to get medical attention. soon after, the prison on Asguard is breached Malekith invades Asguard and massacres the Asguardian soldiers and murders Thor’s mother for protecting Jane. The Asguardians have a funeral for their queen and Thor then wants revenge. Thor and Heimdall release Loki to help them find and kill Malekith Thor, Loki and Jane escape Asguard on a dark elf ship. Back on earth Darcy gets Dr Selvig out of the mental hospital and goes to Jane’s lab. Thor and Loki come face to face with Malekith, Loki pretends to stab Thor and cut of his hand to defeat Malekith but he foils there plan and gets away with the ether and leaves Thor and Loki to defeat his troops Thor is bettered by one creature and Loki kills it just to be stabbed by it as well Thor then presumes Loki dead. for the second time

Thor and Jane travel back to London and see Malekith ready to destroy the nine realms with the ether. Thor approaches Malekith and begins to fight him but the ether is extremely strong. while they fight Darcy, Jane, Ian and Selvig set up equipment to help Thor beat Malekith. then two start battling through the nine realms though portals. Thor then takes the equipment that can beat him from Jane and he kills him. The movie ends with Odin offering Thor to be king and him turning it down only it is not Odin but Loki in disguise.

IRONMAN 3

Ironman 3 starts in 1999 when Tony Stark is at a new years party talking to a woman. He is approached by a man named Aldrich Killian who he tells that he will meet up with but instead blows him of so he can sleep with the woman it then fast forwards to the present day and Tony is building a new suit that fits itself to him. A news article comes up on the television talking abut a the ten rings who kidnapped Tony in the first movie and he wants to find out more about so he goes for lunch with Rhodey who now goes by Iron-patriot but Tony has a major anxiety attack and has to leave. Meanwhile Pepper who is now CEO of Stark industries is having a meeting with before mentioned Aldrich Killian who is introducing Pepper to his new tech. Happy follows Killian’s bodyguard who turns out to be an enhanced human as well as another guy that ends up Blowing up and putting Happy in the hospital with severe injury’s.

Tony then decides that he wants to take revenge for Happy and gives out his home address to the terrorist the Mandarin who bombs Tony’s house. The Ironman suit then saves Pepper and comes back to get Stark out. Tony barley survives and crash lands into a random forest in Tennessee his suit loses all power and he is made to drag his suit along a country road until he finds a small town. Tony breaks int a barn and gets to work fixing his suit when a kid confronts him with a potato gun. Tony and the kid talk for a bit and the kid lets him work in his family’s workshop. Not long later Tony is at a bar to get information about the bombings and gets attacked by the Mandarins men and again he manages to get away.

The ten rings send a broadcast out to every TV nationwide where the Mandarin has a hostage who he is about to shoot unless the president calls him the president calls but he shoots him anyway showing how ruthless he can be so the president calls Iron Patriot into play. While Rhodey is is Pakistan Tony finds out that Killian was experimenting on Humans with a serum that grows back limbs but when it doesn’t go right it turns you into a human bomb. Killian then finds Pepper and kidnaps him and one of Killian’s enhanced humans takes Rhodey withe the Iron-Patriot armor. Stark then finds out that the mandarin is in Miami so he goes to his location to kill him but he ends up just being a British actor and Killian ends up being the real Mandarin.

Killian takes Tony captive and then reveals that he has given Pepper the serum. Killian starts to cook Rhodey out of the suit so that he can take it from him. meanwhile the suit starts flying from the barn in Tennessee to Stark in Miami and he starts to make his escape from the Mandarins lair Tony meets Rhodey who is also escaping. They find out the plan and they make there way to find pepper and Killian. Tony once again loses his suit so he calls in all of the suits that he has built with the house party protocol. Stark makes it to Killian’s location along with Rhodey and his army of Ironman suits and he begins the films final battle. Tony and Rhodey have a huge showdown with Killian and all his men and in the end they get the better of him and save Pepper.

overall i wold give this movie a 7/10\

AVENGERS ASSEMBLE

The first Avengers movie Starts with Nick Fury Dr Erik Selvig and Hawkeye along with a few other SHIELD employees are doing research with the tesseract which is an alien device when it starts to activate it opens a portal and through comes Loki he kills a few of the employees and brain washes Dr Selvig and Hawkeye and then he takes the tesseract. the movie then moves to Black widow being interrogated by a few Russians when the Russians get a phone call for her by Agent coulson she then fights her interrogators whilst tied to a chair and leaves and coulson tells her to go and get the Big Guy. now in India you see a young girl going up to a white man she calls the doctor and says that she needs help he follows her through the town and Black Widow is there to talk with him where we find out that he is DR Bruce Banner or The Hulk. Banner is asked to come in in to Shield and is cautious at first but is convinced that they want his brain instead of wanting the Hulk. By twenty minuets into the the movie we have already met three of the avengers and then comes Steve Rodgers hitting punching bags until they burst showing of his extreme strength Fury asks him to also come into SHIELD . The next person that we are introduced to in this movie is Ironman who is in about to open Stark tower in Manhattan and agent coulson meets him and derails his night giving Tony a mission briefing pack.

The newly formed team then meet on the SHIELD Helicarrier where they find out where Loki is after he disrupts a Ball to steal an eyeball so Hawkeye can break into a secure facility Loki then walks outside and tells everyone there to kneel before him then drops in Captain america where him and Loki start to fight. Loki starts to get the better of Cap and AC/DC starts to play as Ironman flies in to Cap’s aid. Loki then surrenders and is loaded onto the Quin-jet. the team soon hit a storm and the back of the jet is ripped off and Thor boards and takes Loki and flies off Stark follows and then Cap does too where Thor and Ironman have a fight over who takes in Loki but Cap puts an end to it and the three of them take Loki to a holding cell on the Helicarrier. Not long later Loki escapes the cell that he is being held in with the aid of Hawkeye and a few mercenary’s but whilst this happens Black Widow and Banner get stuck under some debris and this unleashes the Hulk who runs rampaging around the Helicarrier trying to destroy everything n his sight and he then fights Thor where they match each other blow for blow Hulk soon escapes and falls around 30’000 feet to the ground and Thor is trapped in the holding cell that Loki was in and gets dropped out of the Helicarrier After Agent coulson gets killed meanwhile Black widow and Hawkeye fight which snaps Hawkeye out of being brainwashed.

The team starts to band together after the death of coulson Stark flies back to stark tower and confronts Loki where the famous line “we have a Hulk” is said Stark gets thrown out of stark tower but his suit gets to him just in time he flies back up up but a portal is opened right above Manhattan releasing an alien army the Avengers then fully band together including Hawkeye. Government officials decide to scramble a jet and launch a nuke onto Manhattan Ironman intercepts the nuke and flies it through the portal and into the Alien ship he then falls back through into earth without a second to spare before the portal closes. the team beat the aliens and Thor takes Loki back to Asguard to be put into custody.

Thor

Thor starts out as a cocky argent God who much to his brother Loki’s dismay is set to become the next king of Asgard. This movie is a learning experience for Thor throughout to become a more compassionate and levelheaded leader for the city of Asgard. at the start he goes to war with the Frost giants for fun putting the Asguardians at risk so his Father Odin strips him of his powers and marks him unworthy to wield his hammer mjolnir he is also banished to Midguard (Earth) until such a time he is deemed worthy to be rule asguard.

Thor is not long on earth when he meets Jane Foster and her workmates DR Erik Selvig and Darcy Lewis. he Befriends these people and learns what it means to be a leader and even what it means to be human. Not long after earth is attacked by an Asguardian machine named the Destroyer sent by Loki Thor’s estranged brother. Thor faces the Destroyer and because of his great bravery he is deemed worthy to yield mjolnir. he defeats the destroyer and returns to Asguard where Loki has wreaked havoc and taken the throne.Thor then defeats Loki but with a cost Loki falls into deep space presumably to his death and Thor destroys the bridge to earth which means he may not even see Jane foster again which makes for quite a heart wrenching end.

IRONMAN 2

Ironman 2 shows a world now aware that Tony Stark is the Ironman and Tony faces pressure from many countries and companies trying to copy his tech although none of them succeed. The movie starts with stark in a conference with some military officials arguing that the United States government will never have the Ironman technology. Stark then makes his way to Monaco for the grand Prix where he drives the race car that he owns only to be attacked by the villain know as whiplash. Stark dons the suit from a Briefcase making probably the coolest Ironman Suit up scene yet in the MCU. Ironman defeats whiplash and then confronts him in an interview room basically telling him to enjoy jail.

whiplash not too long later escapes jail with the help of Justin hammer man that is trying to make his own version of the Ironman suit. not too long later Stark has a party showing off his suit and Rhodey has had enough he comes round and takes a suit from tony which later becomes the War machine. Stark later meets with SHIELD director Nick Fury and his assistant is revealed to be Natasha Romanov (Black Widow) . Justin hammer is shown to be making drones that can match the Ironman suit with whiplash to sell to the government . Hammer sells these suits to the government and at the very first expo they go rogue because of the way that whiplash programmed them in this part of the movie we get to see Black Widow in action for the first time in a scene where she knocks out around ten men in the time it takes Tony Stark’s bodyguard Happy Hogan to knockout one. we also see Ironman and Warmachine join forces for the first time in this time which is pretty big for any fans of the comic books and with true Ironman fashion they kick all the drones asses only to be challenged by an upgraded whiplash. Tony and Rhodey are almost defeated by him but working together they beat him in the end.

overall i would give this movie a 7/10

IRONMAN

Ironman is the first movie that starts off the Marvel cinematic universe. It portrays a successful Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey JR) who is a billionaire weapons manufacturer CEO. The first act of the movie focuses on the classic comic book villain’s the ten rings kidnap Tony Stark and force him to build a super missile called JERICHO. Stark pretends to comply and secretly builds a weaponized suit of armor with his lab partner Ho Yinsen. Stark ends up fighting his way out of the caves and escapes the ten rings. he is then found walking through the desert by a search team led by Rhodey.

The second act starts as Stark is back in the united states and holds a press conference announcing that Stark industries will no longer be manufacturing weapons. Stark’s partner Obadiah Stane is unhappy with this outcome as it could end up bringing down the business. meanwhile Stark starts to build his mark 2 suit to see where he can go with these it makes for a funny scene where he tests flight for the first time and ends up flying into a wall he then sorts out flight and takes the mark 2 on a test drive but does not account for the extreme cold at a high altitude the suit freezes over and he almost plummets to his death. because of this flaw he ends up making the mark 3 that can withstand extreme temperatures and with this suit he travels to the middle east to free a village from the grasp of the ten rings then n the flight back from this flight he ends up in a dog fight with two US Air Force fighter jets of which Rhodey is in charge in the end rhodey calls off the jets and Stark makes it out safe.

In the third act we find out that Obadiah Stane hired the ten rings to kidnap Tony and he collects parts of the mark 1 iron man suit that is found in the desert. Stane then puts together the mark 1 suit to kill Tony but as we know the good guy always wins stane is taken out by the ark reactor being overloaded by Stark’s assistant and love interest pepper Potts. Stark is injured by the explosion but survives and is then taken to another press conference where he says the words “I AM IRONMAN” thereby introducing superheros to earth
